On August 9, 2022, the Lion's Gate portal opened (annual astrological event), bathing Healing Waters of Shasta in an outpouring of cosmic energy. Yogiraj Satgurunath Siddhanath, a living embodiment of ancient wisdom, graced the sacred land with his presence, infusing it with his powerful blessings and amplifying its transformative potential.

For millennia, the Wintun native Americans revered two springs for their life-giving power: a red spring which is iron-rich and a white spring that is high in silica. These natural wonders still flow today through the creek of our retreat. Their red and white hues symbolize yin and yang, balance and transformation. Many people bathe in these springs and feel invigorated, and cleansed in body and spirit.
